Lowlands Estate is a beautiful sheep, cattle and pecan nut farm on the Fish River 30 minutes North of Cradock. A wide variety of activities for guests to enjoy include canoeing, river rafting, bird watching, mountain climbing or just relaxing in tranquil and comfortable surroundings while enjoying traditional Karoo hospitality.

We are child friendly and children are welcome to explore and enjoy farm life. Nearby attractions are the Olive Schreiner Museum in Cradock, Mountain Zebra Park, Grassridge Dam and Graaff Reinet.

Your hosts Dave and Anne Bowker are part of a real Karoo community which still meets for tennis every Saturday afternoon and church on a Sunday in a 100 year old church.
